Welcome to a new era for Katseye. The six-member girl group has been clouded in controversy since the announcement of member Manon Meret going on hiatus. Rumours filled with allegations of jealousy, fighting, racism and mistreatment circling the group.
The release of “Pinky Up” marked a new era for the girl group. Committing to the new sound they picked up during “Gnarly”. Leaning more into hyper pop rather than the pop debut of their first songs, “Debut” and “Touch”.
“Pinky Up” is the girl group’s first song as a five-member piece. Storyboards from the music video show Manon, however, she does not appear in the offical music video.
