It is that time of year again. When influencers flood our feeds with Coachella content. From the actual music performances to skits mocking other influencers. Coachella has become one of the biggest music festivals globally. Officially, the largest music festival in North America. This year marks the festival’s 25th anniversary. With some of the current biggest artists in attendance, if not performing. As Coachella weekend one comes to an end, let’s look at some of the highlights so far!

Friday Highlights
Coachella 2026 takes place over two weekends, April 10-12 and April 17-19. The Headliner on Friday, 10th April was Sabrina Carpenter, who, when previously performing at Coachella, stated that next time she’d perform, she would be headlining. The Disney star turned international pop “It Girl”, turned the main stage of Coachella into her own theatrical production. Full of costume changes, cars and a fountain!
While Sabrina Carpenter was the headliner, there were many other acts scattered across the eight stages. Including KATSEYE, who performed without their sixth member, Manon, CMAT, Blood Orange, Tiga and many more!
Saturday Highlights
One of the most talked-about headlining artists this year was Justin Bieber. With many paying over 600$ to see Justin Bieber. Deemed as “Bieberchella” on the internet. The Prince of Pop headlined Coachella with quite an interesting setup. No backup dancers, no crazy outfits. Just Justin Bieber and a laptop with YouTube, playing his old music videos and singing along with the crowd. Katy Perry, who was in the crowd, joked that it’s a good thing Justin has YouTube Premium because she didn’t want to watch any ads.
Saturday had quite the line-up besides Justin Bieber. With over forty artists. Grammys nominees for this year’s Best New Artist, Sombr and Addison Rae performed. Addison Rae had a celebrity guest, Maddy Ziegler, perform on stage with her. There were also artists such as The Strokes, Jack White, Taemin, SOSA, Pink Pantheress and many more!

Sunday Hightlights
Sunday saw the first Latina headliner for Coachella. Karol G put on a legendary performance, becoming the first Latina to ever headline Coachella. Reggaetón and urbano superstar Karol G closed out the festival’s first weekend on Sunday. With stunning visuals and powerhouse vocals. This performance was coated in Latina influence, not only sharing but also celebrating her culture and roots.

That marks the end of Coachella 2026 Weekend One. Ending off with a bang! As more attention and excitement grow online and in person for the performances. Let’s hope Coachella Weekend Two is just as good!
