Don’t have time to completely tune in to this year’s Grammys, but still want to be caught up to date? Welcome to the 2026 Grammy Highlights. Of the 95 categories and awards that were handed out on February 1st 2026, who are our winners?
The Basics (The Must Know Wins)
Who are our winners? To get the main stars covered right off the bat, Bad Bunny won Album of the Year for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos”. Which is his sixth solo studio album and the first time a Spanish-language album has taken home the top prize. Bad Bunny took home three awards that night, the other two being best Música Urbana album, and he won the best global music performance for “EeO”.
Bad Bunny, while the top winner of the night, was not the artist to receive the most awards. Kendrick Lamar brought home five awards. Making Kendrick Lamar the most awarded rapper in Grammy history, with a total of 26 Grammy awards throughout the years. He brought home Record of the Year for “luther” with SZA and Best Rap Album for “GNX”.
The Best New Artist category was fierce this year. With the first girl group nomination in ten years and no clear winner in sight. Fans were on the edge of their seats as each Best New Artist nominee performed. Between the iconic transition from Addison Rae to Katseye and the incredible handling of technical issues from Alex Warren, it was a tough year to bet on a winner. The award ended up going to Olivia Dean, after years of her hard work!
Song of the Year was awarded to “WILDFLOWER” by Billie Eilish. Continuing her Grammy streak. While Songwriter of the Year went to Amy Allen. With people on “X”, formerly known as “Twitter”, freaking out as they went further into her work. Amy Allen has written songs such as “Manchild” and “Tears” by Sabrina Carpenter, “APT” by Rose and Bruno Mars, “Handlebars” by JENNIE featuring Dua Lipa and “Just Keep Watching” by Tate McRae.
