Within the ever-growing music scene of Limerick city, there are new emerging artists every day. Booking gigs at places like Pharmacia and Dolans. The local community continues to uplift their artists. One of these new emerging artists is Camille Sarrazin, also known as @doalnepo on Instagram.
What’s Popping, Papillon?
Camille Sarrazin or Doalnepo released her debut album on the 18th July 2026. The album is titled Papillon. Available on Bandcamp, Tidal and Deezer. The album consists of eight tracks. With songs such as “Reasons To Stay”, “You Don’t Remember”, “I Heard You”, “Walk Against The Flame”, “Beauty Of My Land”, “The Call”, “Love You Both” and “Papillon”.

Behind The Album
“You Don’t Remember” became the first song released from the album before its release. The artist released the single on the 22nd of May. In an Instagram story, Camille Sarrazin explained how “You Don’t Remember” was written during her master’s as an exercise. The exercise consisted of writing a piece based on an artist you take inspiration from. The artist drew inspiration from Avicii.
The process behind the other songs on the album has not been documented or discussed as of now.
Launch Party
The People’s Museum of Limerick hosted the album’s release celebration. Beginning at 7: 30 pm with a ten euro entry fee. Described as “an intimate evening of live music featuring the songs and stories behind the record”. An evening full of acoustic performances, open discussion, CDs on sale and a personal, pure look into the album.
