Multi award-winning British rock heavyweights Kasabian have announced a huge summer headline show at Fairview Park on 16th June 2026, marking one of the band’s biggest Irish outdoor performances to date.
Release of their Brand New Album
Renowned for their explosive live performances and era-defining anthems, Kasabian’s return to the stage comes as the band gear up for an enormous new chapter, with Album 9 – ACT III set for release in summer 2026. The Fairview Park show promises a career-spanning set alongside brand-new material, delivered with the swagger and intensity that has made Kasabian one of the most formidable live bands of their generation.
Background
Formed in Leicester in 1997 in the bedroom of songwriter and frontman Serge Pizzorno, Kasabian have, from the outset, built a legacy few bands can match. Throughout their career, they have not only achieved seven consecutive UK Number One albums but also sold over 10 million records worldwide. Furthermore, they have amassed more than 1.5 billion streams on Spotify alone.
Previous Awards
Their trophy cabinet boasting multiple BRIT, NME, Mojo and Q Awards, alongside Mercury Prize and MTV VMA nominations. Beyond awards recognition, Kasabian have also cemented their reputation as festival headliners across countless major festivals around the globe such as Leeds.
In particular, the band once again proved their status as must-see live performers at Glastonbury 2024, where a surprise secret set sparked unprecedented demand, forcing organizers to lock down the tent hours in advance to ensure crowd safety and quickly cementing the show as one of the most talked-about performances of the weekend.
At the same time, Summer 2024 also marked the release of Happenings, their eighth studio album and seventh UK Number One. Consequently, it received widespread critical acclaim and further reaffirmed the band’s place at the forefront of modern British rock.
