Fatboy Slim and The Rolling Stones have officially announced their collaboration with the release of “Satisfaction Skank” on 11 December 2025. The collaboration reimagines the Rolling Stones’ hit “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” with Fatboy Slim’s famous, energetic and electronic sound.
“The One That Could Never Be Released”
This is how Fatboy Slim described the track in a behind-the-scenes style Instagram post on Saturday, 29 November 2025. The post announced the collaboration with a pre-save link, leading fans to a black screen featuring the famous Rolling Stones tongue logo, twirling around in circles, as Fatboy Slim’s own yellow smiley logo hangs off the tongue.

Relationship Reunion
“Satisfaction Skank” will not be the first project the famous icons have worked on together. Fatboy Slim, best known for “Praise You” and “Right Here, Right Now”, is a pioneer of British electronic and dance music. With seven Grammy nominations, including one win, Fatboy Slim is no stranger to collaborations with the industry’s finest. He previously released remixes of the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil” back in 2003, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards liking his remixes.
This time, the collaboration is in the works with Southern Fried Records and ABKCO Studio.

Satisfaction
It has officially been 60 years since the Rolling Stones released “(I Can‘t Get No) Satisfaction”. It would become their first song to hit number one in the US. The single als hit number one in the UK charts, where it stayed for 12 weeks.
The very famous guitar riff, which would help further mould the band’s music identity, came to Keith Richards in a dream. Woken from his sleep in the Gulf Motel, Florida, Keith Richards picked up his guitar and cassette recorder, recording the eight-note riff. In an interview. Keith Richards described it as, “on the tape you can hear me drop the pick, the rest is me snoring”.
Fan Reaction
Fans of both the Rolling Stones and Fatboy Slim were excited by the announcement. Comments flooded the official Fatboy Slim Instagram post promoting the release, with comments such as “Oh yes Norm!!!, It’s a re-edit too, was not expecting that! Ordered the vinyl” and “Sick! How could the Stones not get involved”.
