Saint Etienne Announce final UK and Ireland Tour : 3Olympia Dublin Show Confirmed for September 2026

Saint Etienne has announced their final tour for the UK and Ireland. They are set to headline the 3Olympia in September 2026. Tickets are to go on general sale Friday 5 December at 10AM. Prices for tickets will range between €42.86 – €82.90 according to Ticketmaster.

Starting in Heaven

Saint Etienne are a band that have been around the block. Their first performance together was in Heaven Nightclub London 15 November 1990. This came just after the release of their first single, “Only Love Can Break Your Heart” —a Neil Young cover. Duo Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs initially formed the band. They had a revolving door of vocalists. Lead vocalist Sarah Cracknell joined to sing on the song “Nothing Can Stop Us” in 1991. From there it was a match made in heaven.

After the band debuted their album Fox Base Alpha, Cracknell officially joined. From here the band would create music for the next 35 years. Over the years, they experimented with Britpop indie music of the 90s. Then, expanding, into genres of all kind including whimsigoth, dance pop and indietronica just to name a few.

International

The band released their latest and final studio album, International, in early September of this year. It strayed away from their original roots. The album is made up of dance pop and electronic tunes like “Dancing Heart”. With such a variety in songs, you won’t want to miss their final tour.

The Long Goodbye

Saint Etienne UK tours have included support acts Oasis, Stereolab, Broadcast and Pulp and the band have appeared on festival bills alongside the great and the good, from James Brown to Kylie Minogue and many more. Now the band can finally claim their own flowers with The Long Goodbye. Be sure to grab tickets while you can. This will be your very last chance to see this iconic band live.
