Electric Picnic just announced their 2026 lineup and fans are extremely impressed! With 80,000 tickets sold out, the festival is set up for an amazing weekend of music, taking place in Stradbally, Co. Laois from August 28th-30th 2026.
Headliners
A fantastic first wave of Headliners has been announced with our very own Fontaines D.C. taking the coveted closing spot on Sunday night. This is the first time for them to make an appearance since 2022 and their rise to global fame.
Gorillaz are taking the Saturday headlining spot marking their debut appearance on the Stradbally stage. Fans will now be eagerly awaiting the Friday night headliner.
First wave of acts
The rest of the acts announced do not disappoint. Also confirmed is our beloved CMAT, breakout artist Sombr, pop star Zara Larsson, UK rapper Skepta, London band Wunderhouse, successful US singer-songwriter Role Model and NYC rock band Geese. This lineup is definitely one aimed at younger festival goers, featuring many new break-out artist, popularised through social media such as TikTok.
More acts to come
With this being the first release of acts fans are eagerly anticipating what’s to come next for the Electric Picnic 2026 lineup. However, the festival’s website warned their audience. “This is just the start of what we have in store for you in August 2026. We can’t wait to see you there!”

Fans seemed to be extremely pleased with the 2026 line-up with many positive comments flooding Electric Picnic’s social pages. Commenters on Instagram say “the best lineup in ep history actually” and “best one yet.” It will be interesting to see what else EP has in store for the remaining lineup.
