New festival Forever Now based in Milton Keynes opens up with a dream line-up

A new festival is going to opens its gates on the 22nd of June 2025 at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, UK. Forever Now will run on one day only, and celebrate the Post-Punk movement, from music to literature and fashion.

“We are delighted to present a festival that reflects the rich heritage of artists in the alternative music field. The day will feature some amazing artists, unique sets, and collaborations not seen on a UK stage before. As the birthplace of alt counterculture, the UK is the perfect home for a festival to pay homage to alternative creative artistry.’’ says Steve Homer, CEO of AEG (the festival organiser).

AEG joined forces with the people behind the Cruel World festival in Pasadena, California, to organise this new sister festival. This festival born four years ago has been largely critically acclaimed, with very exciting line-ups in the past including Iggy Pop, Blondie, Billy Idol and Morrissey… And coming up next year with New Order and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds...

With a sister event like this… Things are promising for Forever Now, especially now that the line-up has been announced. The headliner is none other than the legend of electronic music: Kraftwerk! And they will be joined with many great names: Johnny Marr, Billy Idol, Jesus & Mary Chain, The TheDeath Cult and  The Psychedelic Furs.
