The New War Child Album HELP (2) is released, inspired by the landmark 1995 release ‘HELP’

War child has released HELP(2), a new charity album inspired by the charity’s influential 1995 compilation HELP. This album brings together a wide range of artist from The Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Olivia Rodrigo, Fontaines D.C. and more advocating to protect, stand up, and educate for the rights of children living through conflict and war around the globe. All proceeds made by the album will go towards War Child’s work.

A follow up to the 1995 HELP album

This album carries on the legacy of the 1995 HELP album which raised over £1.25 million for War Child UK. The new album comes at a great time as millions of children are being affected by war and conflict everyday.

The charity highlighted the ongoing crises affecting children in places including Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan and Yemen. Funds from the album will contribute to humanitarian programs in these region.

Produced by James Ford

The album was produced by acclaimed producer James Ford at Abbey Road. Here James has brought together a diverse group of artist for a great cause and done so with a clear purpose.

Impactful video to Olivia Rodrigo’s Track “The Book of Love”

One of the most impactful pieces to come out of this album is Olivia Rodrigo’s track “The Book of Love”. A video shared on social media by War Child features visuals filmed by children in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine and Yemen. This gives the song a huge emotional and intimate perspective and reminds us of what the album is all about.
